There’s a reason our logo contains the phrase “energy for generations.” First of all, at Bedford we can confidently say that we have positioned our company for long-term sustainability. Our knowledge, research and well-rounded experience in international business, agriculture and operations, guided by an outstanding management team, have shaped Bedford Biofuels as an industry leader. Secondly, our research has led us to focus primarily on the highly sustainable Jatropha plant as our biofuel feed stock. Accordingly, we have invested in the development of our own large-scale plantations in Kenya and Zambia. These operations allow for intercropping with cattle, timber and various food crops. Because Jatropha is non-edible, it does not compete with local food markets.
